Must we always be employed and entertained by what we came to meet? Ours is a story of understanding the world and exploring possibilities; to create a “theme sport” by bringing sports and technology together to experience all components of our world and tell our daily life stories on one platform. This curiosity and  thrill of discovery of adventure is imbued with many challenges, yet, we believe it will churn out as a nucleus for many people's success story!

After about a decade of conception, Wao! was designed in 2013 and then registered with the Copyright Ghana in 2014.
We began to mobilize equipment for the sport; we created some locally i.e. Goal Set, Oval Crown. Others were improvised i.e balls, jerseys, whereas technological inputs were not available at all i.e. digitised pitch, smart kits. By 2015, about 50 active hands-on Wao! Players were playing at Cornerstone Baptist Church car park, at Dome Pillar II. We have validated the rules of Wao! manually and we promote the manual version on various media platforms.

Hundreds of people are currently participating in Wao! as a form of
hobby, exercise and as a prospective career. Thousands of people
have watched and follow the sport through attending our games,
television broadcast and online. The sport is at the verge of being
adopted by Schools / Universities and being played beyond the
Nation's capital where it started.
